While 3G iPhone users from United States have been complaining about the speed, the Canadians are so delighted and satisfied with the service that they get from Rogers. According to the report from the website of Wired Magazine, Rogers currently holds the record of the second fastest network speed around the globe.

Wired.com recently had a poll where over 2,600 users of the second-generation iPhone responded. In the poll, they found out that the customers of Fido as well as Rogers from Canada had a download speed of 1,330 kilobits per second on their iPhone. And that’s just the average
The customers of Rogers and Fido reported that they have been experiencing faster speeds compared to what the US customers are getting. On AT&T’s network, the average speed is only 990 kilobits. But US subscribers must not feel to frustrated. There is a slower speed than what AT&T is giving. Virgin and Optus networks from Australia have the worst speeds, giving only 360 kilobits to its subscribers.
