Apple’s iPhone has invaded two more countries, leaving the number of people without iPhones throughout the world rapidly dwindling. In a move that may be intended to stimulate slow European iPhone sales, Apple has introduced the device in Austria and Ireland through the T-Mobile and O2 networks, respectively. Unfortunately for the Irish and Austrians, the iPhone they will purchase is more expensive that the price here in the U.S. The 8GB model will sell for 399 Euro and the 16GB version will sell for 499 Euro. Plus, the Austrian iPhone can’t be purchased with unlimited data.

Edit: Yes, this was released about 3 weeks ago. However, the iPhone hasn’t been officially available in-store until yesterday.
