Yesterday, when the iPhone 3G guided tour was released, I watched it getting bored at what I already knew, but as I continued watching, I noticed some things.

Briefly alluded to during the iPhone 3G’s introduction at WWDC, the “dramatically improved audio” of the updated iPhone is now attributed directly to its new microphone and speakers.

I like the look of the new speakers and I hope they are just as good as Steve Jobs says they are. By the speakers I noticed something unlike Apple however.

A look at the bottom of the device also shows two screws at either end of the Dock Connector. Hmmm? Apple normally hides anything that resembles a screw, but it is clear as day on the iPhone 3G.

I guess it’ll make it easier for those who disassemble electronics to gain access easier.

Also, while watching the highly anticipated 2.0 software guided tour, the front view of the App Store shows an AIM application that may likely be released July 11th. This may be a reasoning behind not including text messaging to the contract. Who knows?

I would also like to note that downloading an application is not like I expected. You will be returned to the iPhone home screen to watch the progress and instantly start using the application.
