Sena intro’s their iPhone 3G case lineup

Sena has become the latest to add the ever-growing collection of cases for the iPhone 3G. With five models to choose from they seem to have a nice lineup to choose from with models to include a pouch style, leather skin cases">case and even some wallet styles.

Up first we have the Elega Pouch which is just a basic pouch style case with a belt clip on the back. The top is open so you can still have access to your headphone jack and it also has two holes cut on the bottom for the speaker. The case is made from the “finest European Napa leather” on the outside with a shock-absorbent padding and soft velvet lining on the interior. The Elega Pouch retails for $39.99.

Next we have another pouch style case, the Ultra Slim Pouch. Although this case is a lot slimmer than the previous Elega Pouch, it still has the Napa leather on the outside with a velvet liner on the inside. This case, because of the thinness does not offer the extra shock-absorbent padding. The Ultra Slim Pouch retails for $29.99

Moving on we have the Leatherskin Case, which features a slim design, as well as the Napa leather on the outside with a velvet lining on the inside. This model has a removable belt clip and openings for the camera, all ports and switches. The Leatherskin Case retails for $42.00, but if you pre-order it you can get it for $33.60.

The remaining two are similar, both of which are wallet style. They are the Walletskin Case and the Walletbook Case and they retail for $52.00, however you can pre-order them and pay $41.60. The Walletskin Case is similar to the above Leatherskin case, however it has a slim wallet style fold-out from the back. The Walletbook Case has the wallet style fold-out but from the side instead of the back, which personally makes it look like a ladies wallet. However the wallet folds over the display which will offer some additional protection against scratching. Both of the wallet style cases are made from Napa leather with the velvet lining on the inside.

I have case from Sena. While I’ve found the quality of the leather case very good, the belt clip may as well be made of peanut brittle. In the 2 months that I have owned the case, 2 of the clips have broken from normal use.
The grade of plastic used is inferior. The company was very good about replacing the original clip, but they weren’t at all interested in finding out why it failed. They quickly send me a replacement.
Today, the replacement failed after about one month. This is with normal use. By normal, I mean I am not on some construction site banging it around during the day. I work in an office and make some short drives during an average day.
The only way I would accept another clip from Sena is if they come up with one made of metal. Too bad because I love the case.

If you like the Sena cases then you’ll love the http://www.ikonicedge.com pouch. Its like the Ultra Slim but way better and with genuine thick leather.

    “Vincent” !
This is not the way to promote your company. You are posting everywhere and loosing your credibility. I know you are trying to piggyback from Sena’s name and quality but sneaky ways are wrong.
