GPS adapter coming to the iPhone

At this year’s CeBIT, a company called Nav N Go was demoing an early version of their iPhone SatNav software and hardware combination. On the hardware end, Gomite’s LocoGPS receiver will be used to pull in GPS signals, and on the software end, Nav N Go’s software will be accessible over WiFi. The GPS adapter is a small, black device that plugs into your iPhone’s dock port and looks much like an A2DP Bluetooth adapter. We can’t really see this working without a third-party application, so maybe we might be waiting for this a bit longer than expected.
