AT&T disables free iPhone hotspots (temporarily?)

AT&T seems to have canceled their free iPhone hotspot service, which was launched this Wednesday. AT&T hasn’t made an official announcement yet, though, so the shutdown will probably be temporary. We’re guessing AT&T is developing a new system that prevents people from spoofing the system- an easy procedure at the moment. Hopefully, this will be nothing but a side effect of a premature launch, and we’ll be surfing the web from our iPhones- gratis- soon.

  3. This is only Temporary.  Unfortunately you get a different answer each time you call someone but AT&T should be releasing a statement soon.
