About The Author:
Zenovia N. Evans, J.D. is author of the J.D. Lifeline series. Evans has a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with a specialization in International Law from an American law school.
Evans has studied law at prestigious schools in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand; competed in a moot court competition; written two scholarly articles on the subprime mortgage crisis; completed an intensive two-year appellate litigation clerkship; and served as a mentor to at-risk youth.
Evans was inspired to create the J.D. Lifeline series by her own challenging experiences as a law student and the touching stories of legal professionals whose careers were derailed during the recession. Her desire is to “guide students through common law school scenarios and pitfalls while providing strategies for successfully exploiting the experience.”
