obet: I would love to get one of this but it's over a 100 bucks..Too tough for my pocket.
iapper: Definitely a very year ending news to all Apple stockholders....Wish I had some.
iapper: For me, a 16GB iPhone is not the main feature that Apple should launched soon. It should be the 3G capability and direct support for MS Exchange so I can get rid of my BlackBerry!
lodenian: You can visit www.hyper-card.com and buy their dual SIM card to use iPhone 1.1.2 with any carrier. You can get these cards from ebay as well. Use of this card involves cutting your original SIM card but it is very easy and they would provide you with a guide as well on how to cut your SIM card properly and insert it into the Hyper Card or Sonic SIM. Hope this helps.
bahamawill: lodean,hi how you my name is willy from the bahamas. My brother just bought a phone from the us and its the 1.1.2 version i need your assistance please in getting it unlock.
voltaire: Congratulations to Apple and all iPhone users worldwide!
voltaire: Alot of good applications would become available once the official SDK is released. And the result will be..
1. Apple will have more sales.
2. iPhone users will be happier.
3. Developers would generate loads of cash with these iPhone applications.
A win-win-win situation for all, isn't it?
bryan: A very nice add-on I must say!
obet: Is this actually the same as the HyperCard that been known to work with most iPhone versions long ago? I bought mine from Taiwan via the website www.hyper-card.com
kutz: Fingers crossed:)
obet: This case actually looks neat and clean. Has anyone tried so far?
obet: iPhone says "People of Asia, here I come". Hope it won't be long before it is launched in Singapore
lodenian: I agree with this somehow so hopefully Apple can release an update with a direct Exchange compatibility. This would surely boost the corporate user sales for them!
lodenian: AFAIK, there is no software solution right now to unlock OTB 1.1.2 iPhones.
jacayman: Does anyone know if there are any other ways to unlock a 1.1.2 firmware phone other than with a SIM card product like this (like with software)? I am told an I-phone with a serial number ***48 would be a 1.1.2 firmware phone...? I haven't unwrapped it yet and am trying to decide if I should just return it.
iphoneman: I love the iBlackJack. Always play this in the train to and from work. A must have for your iPhone!
obet: It is December 17, 2007 now and the new 1.1.3 is not released yet!
netnet: For my iPhone, I have bought the following.
1. Sena Leather case
2. Acrylic Case
3. Vaja Top SP iVolution case
4. BodyGuardz
5. Power Support Screen Protector
It took time for me to find a suitable case but now I only use the Vaja Top SP case. It's elegant and protects the phone very well.
netnet: Unless windows mobile comes up with a "finger touch screen", market share will continue to rise for the iPhone.
lodenian: Reasons for this are simple:
1. Most WM devices have small screens.
2. It is alot easier using our fingertips that the stylus
My 2 cents!
lodenian: Great looking case!
milo: A very welcome news indeed. Now we don't need to pay $1 a ringtone from iTunes! Thanks a bunch Apple.
lenie: Hope we get a 3G iPhone here in the Philippines as well during when it is officially launched here:)
