If you had any question about the success of the iPhone and now the iPhone 3G, that's about to end. Business Week reports that Apple intends to make at least 40 million iPhones in the next year. Analysts expect Apple will sell 11 million iPhone 3Gs in 2008 and 25 million in 2009. Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster sees this number approaching 45 million. Sales estimates aside, Business Week has cited a source familiar with the companies plans who confirmed plans to produce 40 million to 45 million iPhone 3Gs through August 2009.
